-my life is this crazy
incredible wonderful thing.
this has been the most unbelievable summer.
i seriously can't say it enough.

-today i went to see the crazysupermagicalvoiceman, dr. kessler
which of course always makes me feel like a rockstar, since he is the crazysupermagicalvoiceman for mariah, alicia keys, justin timberlake, usher, john legend, clay aiken, madonna, britney spears, ashanti, kanye west, p. diddy, luther vandross, patti labelle, and just about every music, broadway, or televison star you could ever imagine. literally. he took a look at the chords, gave me 42549028590428590208945 medicinal thingys, put me on a new diet, and make me go on hardcore vocal rest until after i go back to his office on friday. the chords have some pre-nodular swelling and are sore as hell from some ashleesimpsonstyle reflux issues. nothing to be too worried about, he's just trying to send me off to cmu in the best condition possible.

-i had him put a note in john legend's chart so that he gets a big cp hello the next time he comes in. AND i came reallllly close to stealing hillary duff's cell phone number because it was on this little slip of paper next to my chart as i was waiting to leave. but i mean, what would i do? call and say, "your face is long and you have weird new teeth. oh, and please don't sing or be on tv." ? that'd be weird.

-then i spent an awesomely silent day with my justiney-diney.
you know that you have an amazing friendship with someone when you can be around
them all day and night without speaking. of course, she can read lips really well and her mom gave me a little pad and such. it was just an awesome day. shopping and watermelon and her parents grilling some burgers and dogs and blasting the first edits from the new counterparts cd and saying goodbye to her was so hard that i almost exploded. we talked...or well...she talked and i...vocallyrested(?) about the possibility of us moving into an apartment together after college. and that made leaving her a little bit easier. how sick would that be? although, we'll both be poor, struggling actors. so maybe we need to invite a couple of people who could actually PAY RENT (and not just sing it haha) to join us.

-i am exhausted. my tattoo is aching.
(-oh yea, i got a new tattoo. ommmmmm.)
my butt hurts from getting cortizone shot into it
and i'm sweaty and too full of food.

-but i'm happy. i am so fucking happy.
